We arrived in Boston at 6:30AM Our plan was to fly to Norfolk via Philadelphia, but that didn't work out because nothing was flying into Norfolk, on account of the high wind from what was left of hurricane Fran. So, we re-booked on a later flight through New York, bought a jigsaw puzzle, and waited.
The later flight was cancelled too, but we rebooked on an even later flight, and waited some more. At the time we finally left Boston, the 1:00 shuttle, our Norfolk flight was still scheduled to fly.
When we got to New York, they had cancelled the 2:55 flight to Norfolk, but scheduled a replacement for 4:00, so we waited some more in New York. These two pictures are from the restraunt in the airport "food court" where we had lunch.
We finally got into the air again.
And here we are, 12 hours later, at the beach. These are the views from our suite at the Barclay Towers. The sounds of the waves and warm salt sea and sand smells just demand that you relax. I have the sound in Macintosh AIFF format and PC .wav format. Anybody know of an RFC for emailing the smells?
