Comments:   Born & raised in Haverhill, graduated HHS class of '82. Moved away in '86, but never very far away. I remember my Social Studies teacher at St. James Middle School, Mrs. Garwich, spent 1/2 the year teaching the history of Haverhill & taking us to different histoic sites. It gave me an appreciation of Haverhill's history & I'm glad to know that it's accessible to people all over. Great website!!!

Comments:   A number of my ancestors lived and died in Haverhill. I visited your site in search of geneology information. I was trying to find the name of the ship that bought John Eaton from England to Massachusetts in the 1600's. John Eaton died in 1668 in Haverhill. His son, Thomas, was also born in Hatton, Warwickshire aand died in Haverhill in 1708. Thomas's son Jonathon died in Haverhill in 1723 or 1724. His son, James Eaton was born 1696 and died in Haverhill in 1773. Finally, James' son David was born in Haverhill in 1729 but emigrated to Cornwallis Nova Scotia in 1761. The question, of course, is are there any records in Haverill of the Eaton family and any tombstones? Many thanks to anyone who can help.

I went to St. Joseph's Grammar School and then began Haverhill High School the first year the 'new' school opened 1973 - that same year President Kennedy was assasinated. Comments:   Just browsing through, looking up info on the hometown of my favourite musician, Rob Zombie (Rob Cummings)...I'm hoping that someday soon he will be added to the list of other notable citizens for his contirbution to the music industry (and soon the film industry as well.) Rob has had a long and prosperous career with his first band, White Zombie and now as a solo performer, he's playing to more fans and more sold out shows all across North America. I know to look at him he's scary, but he's a decent, extremely hard-working man and the fine city of Haverhill should be proud to have him as a son ! Rob's brother, Mike has also been a popular musician for many years in MA with his own band, Powerman 5000...they both desreve to be mentioned on the list...

Comments:   MY WIFE AND I BROKE DOWN ON I-495 WHILE OUR CAR WAS BEING FIXED WE MET THE FORMER MAYOR BILL RYAN. HE TOLD US WHERE TO VISIT IN HAVERHILL.. THE FOUR HOURS WE SPENT IN HAVERHILL WAS GREAT. Comments:   My interest in Haverhill stems to the History of the Whittiers. I have a biography of Eliza Parker
who is my 2nd Great Grandmother on my Father's Maternal side. She moved from
Massachusetts to South Western Ontario, Canada. In the story it is stated that she was born

Comments:   Another one who was born in Haverhill; in my case in 1937 and left with my family for Calif. in 1948. I went to Bartlett and Tilton schools in the mid and late 1940's.
