Comments:   I am doing my Husbands family history and I have landed here... any help would be apprecated... what I have is this.. In the 1880 Fed. Census for Sparta, New Jersey I have 2 sisters Anne Duston age 79 Father born in NH, and her sister Margaret Duston Stites sister to Anne age 71 Father born in NH, Both women were born in New Jersey so their parents must have left NH some time before 1801. I know it is a very long shot but is there some one out there with some thoughts as to who the parents of these two women are? Please help if you can... Thank you in advance.

Comments:   I have memories of Haverhill since the 50's and 60's when my family took us on road trips to Salisbury Beach. We have taken this trip every other year since then almost without exception. We drove from Detroit, Pittsburgh, and later Chicago. We would come to visit cousins in Haverhill who lived on Washington Street. My aunt still lives in the same house.

I remember buying a couple of yards of brown fake leather in '69 or '70 in an overflowing fabric store downtown---I made a jumper with it that was all the rage for a teenager back then.

I also remember my mother toting me along to see John Greenleaf Whittier's house when at the time I did not know who he was. Nevertheless it instilled in me an interest in historical homes that I continue to pursue today.

Comments:   Al, Christopher and I lived in Haverhill at 175 Lowell Avenue from 1976-1983. I remember well our wonderful neighbors -- the Fargnoli's, the Porros and the Francescones as well as many more in the area. Discovered in reading some of the entries in this guest book that Cathy Crandall, class of '70, Haverhill, lives here in Hendersonville, Tennessee! I loved the pictures of the town and our family has many fond memories of our time when we lived there.
