Comments:   Moved to Haverhill at one year of age in 1943.Lived most of my life on Stage street(behind the old Paramount theater and attended School Street School.
We did spend the eighth grade bussed to Tilton then as a freshman attended the long burned down Annex. Left Haverhill by way of the U.S.Air Force and have spent the last twenty seven years living in Brazil.I now return there two times a year,when I am not running through the states here in the U.S.My stepfather was Art LeGacy of H.H.S. football fame.

Comments:   I was born at Hale Hospital 1954. Parents, Karl and Audrey Moulton, lived in Plaistow. Attended dancing school in the 60s and early 70s at Doris Caffrey's School of Dance and later Priscilla McNally's School of Dance. Attended Timberlane High School graduating in 1972. Parents owned Kadre Driving School on Main Street in Plaistow from about 1966-1984. Grandmother, Mae Viens, lived on Northwood Terrace and the corner of Main St. Step grandfather, George used to sit out in his garage all summer, watching the Main Street traffic go by. House was yellow with green trim and he kept the lawn immaculate. My grandmother and I used to walk to Smiley School and use the playground equipment there. Anyone know any of these people? I'd love to hear from you!

Comments:   I moved from Haverhill to Keene, NH, in 1959. Imagine my surprise to find the principal of Keene High School was a former Haverhill resident, Harold Drew. He helped ease my way into my junior year in a strange school. I am currently teaching in a Charlotte public school and looking forward to retiring with my husband back to New England in a few years. Memories of Haverhill, St. James School, walking downtown from the "Acre," and bussing around "the loop" are fondly treasured, along with the many friends I had to leave behind. Comments:   Nice to visit this site - lots of memories. My father was morning man on WHAV for many years. I grew up on Hilldale Ave. near the High School - graduated HHS 1985, Fitchburg State College 1990. Moved to Southern California (Palm Springs) in 1994...to Salt Lake City in 1997, back to California in 1998, and finally moved back east to Portland, Maine area last March. Did something very few people in Haverhill have done (or even heard of); joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). Comments:   I am searching for any information that one may know about my ancestors who resided in Haverhill from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. My grandmother, Flora MCEACHERN, from Prince Edward Island, was married to Charles JOHNSON, from Sweden. They had 3 daughters, Rose Johnson, Mildred Johnson, and my mother Hazel Johnson, who was born in Haverhill on June 4, 1898. The family lived at 211 Groveland St. at the time of my mother's birth. Charles Johnson died in the early 1900's and Flora married a Francis MCGUIGAN. Any information would be appreciated. I plan to visit Haverhill in the not too distant future and wondered if 211 Groveland St. still existed?
