Comments:   I used to live in Haverhill. I lived there my whole life, i'm 16 years old. I loved it there but we had to move. It was becoming way to crowded! And anyone who has visited i'm sure has seen thats its also a very dirty smelly nasty place now. It's digusting, but all and all, it's my home and i miss it so much! What is happening to it?!

Comments:   What a great site! I just happened across it from the Lawrence Eagle Tribune site. My uncle is Barney Gallagher at the LET. The pictures are beautiful and made me homesick. I hope to be "home" in 2003 for my 25th HHS reunion. Hi to everyone!

Comments:   As a citizen of this city, I would like to know what's happening to it. It is getting so crowded and over developed that I will be moving my young family away from here within the next year. I love this city and will miss it, but I don't think its the best place to raise my family. We've allowed developers to build and build and the open spaces are disappearing so fast, so many people are moving here, yet we can't afford to keep our schools properly funded. Its sad, but I'm being pushed right out of my hometown to do whats best for my children.

Comments:   Born and raised...HHS Class of '78. Left for BU and then to CT after graduation but back again. Fell onto this website looking for some HHS info for my son (HHS Class of 02). What a great site; but my how our "town" has changed! Nonetheless, I have some great memories of Meehan's, OG's, games at the staduim and much more. Kids, don't think you won't miss it when/if you leave here!

Comments:   Greetings and salutations from one of HHS Class of '74! I am very happy to see a place where people can really communicate (not like that Web site that claims to bring classmates together...). Some of you older folks may remember my grandfather, Harry Felstiner, who ran a yard goods store many years ago. Hello to my cousins, King and Neal Weinstein (brothers), wherever you are!

Anyone who remembers me, please write. I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you, Galaca. I never thought people cared this much about our little town...it's truly amazing. I'll be back--!

Comments:   I thought I did not miss Haverhill. Seeing photos of the old home town brings on fond memories of growing up in Haverhill. It's nice to remember going to grammar school in Bradford when the biggest worry we had was a teacher scolding us.Does anyone else out there feel as fortunate as I do to have grown up in Haverhill during the 50's and 60's?
