Haverhill was agreat place to grow up, I left after college (BC
1980) and settled in Ft. Lauderdale. Left for So Cal in 1990,
I love San Diego and all of Southern California.
I am a High School English teacher and, football coach. I also
have an insurance agency (FARMERS Insurance)and I don't have any
time to be fooling around on this web site.
Only get back to Haverhill for funerals, and hopefully my 25th
renunion in November 2001.
When I was back for my mothers funeral (11/99), I met up with
lots of old friends at the ROMA. We all went to some bar nearby
(Ronnie D's) and had thousands of drinks. All of my family was
their, including our spouses. Mary Gardella Gobbi was the ringleader
of that hangover.

I still get the Gazette and just have to comment on the story of Officer Tattan, with the blessing of the city, driving the young lady to Boston so that she could have her dialysis. Comments: I was born and raised in Haverhill, many happy memories, many sad ones. I went to John-Greenleaf Whittier and then the Vo-Tech. My grandmother built, owned, and ran 4 Seasons Car Wash on river street. My uncle was a Haverhill policeman. I have lived all over Haverhill. My family still resides there. I had a chance to visit last year, there were many changes, but it still feels like home! I now live in sunny Florida and I love it down here. But it can never replace my home town.....Haverhill. Personal Bio: HHS grad of 1972. Merrimack College grad of 1976.
Moved to New York in 1978 and to New Jersey in 1982. I'm the black
sheep of the LaHaye family .... all of the rest of my brothers
and sisters are still in and around the city. Dearest Mom and
Dad are still in the old homestead. My wife and I and our two
boys visit as often as we can. I can't believe the SNOW you guys

Just back to see what's new and who's been here. I here your having
a bad winter down there. It has been a excellent winter way up
here about a foot of snow all winter and for the last two weeks
it's been between 40 to almost 60 degrees F.
Our snow is almost gone and it's close to fishing season.

Comments: I am a decendant of Hannah(Emerson) Dustin, the Indian scalper. I want to get more information on her genealogy. My ancestors come from Hannah Dustin, the oldest daughter of Hannah (Emerson) Dustin, on her husband Daniel Cheney's side, then down the Cheney line to my grandmother Catherine Carter Cheney, daughter of George Edward Cheney of Barnard, Vermont and his wife Helene Isadora Tynan.
