Comments: I was born in Haverhill July 7, 1932. My father was Arthur Gerhard Bradley, the son of Arthur William Bradley who was a shoe manufacturer who lost his business in the "crash" of 1929. One of my uncles was Roofus Chritenden who was chief of the Haverhill Fire Department when I was an infant. My family migrated south to my mother's home state of Alabama after WWII. This is a fantastic website. Can't believe the city has grown so much.

Comments: Just back for first website visit since 1999. I was born in Haverhill in 1937 and lived in the Haverhill area until moving to California in 1948. Went to Bartlett and Tilton schools and recall many childhood friends in the mid-40's. Lived on Fairfield Street next to Esposito family. My father was Richard Lee Smith. My mother married Harold Johnson after the death of my father. A great website of a great town. After reading many of the guest book entries, I am amazed at the number of decendents of Hannah Dustin. Would appreciate hearing from any relatives or others who lived in Haverhill and attended Bartlett or Tilton schools during that time.

Comments: My mom passed away in Oct. of 2000 and left me a book of the Ela familyMy Grandfather had this book published in 1969 with quite a bit of information.It states the Ela name frist showed up in 1656 and are still ther to this day. First name in the book is Israel Ela of Haverhill Ma Probably son of Daniel he took the freeman's oathe in 1677 He had probably been a reseident for some years, is he was not born there He married Nov 11 1680 to Abigail Bosworth and died Mar 29 1700. I have names and pictures from that time period including a Freshman class picture in 1893. Is there a geneology site for your state.
